Views: Date view by time
Tasks based on the "reminder" is arranged in every category. means each " reminder" or "time" is closer to be in the front row automatically.
Lists can now be sorted by timeline! Web app has just been updated, mobile versions are being released and desktop will be updates very soon as well ;)

When you want to see all the tasks due in an specific day (today, tomorrow, next week) you should have the possibility of having them in order is due time. In that way, you will have, at the top of the list, the tasks that will have your reminder sooner and then de others.

Would love any.do to comment on the status of this request. It's been the top request for some time now but isn't even statused as in review. Is there some reason it isn't being considered? I see Eric's response that it's not available because drag and drop is, but drag and drop is completely unrealistic if you have more than even a dozen tasks in your backlog. I have hundreds. I can't even drag and drop at that point without knowing the due date of every other tasks because due dates aren't displayed on the list view for me to know where to drop it once I managed to scroll drag for pages and pages to find the right spot.

I don't know how tasks sort themselves currently, but it doesn't make any sense to me that they can't be sorted by their due date or by their priority level. These seem like basic features that'd be available anywhere else. Either way, it'd be incredibly handy to immediately know what tasks I have to attend to first.

To not only organize things according to due date but also according to the time due so a person can organize their individual days with ease as well as day by day.

This feature is an absolute necessity. It should be possible to view The tasks datewise under 'Upcoming '

Within today and tomorrow view some grouping for time of day would be great - morning, afternoon, evening
Within upcoming it would be great for sub grouping in order of next week, then monthly, the later for anything after a years time.

Wait. This isn't sorted by time? Good heavens. I thought the bug was that it didn't slot the timed tasks into the calendar appointments noted in Cal. I didn't imagine the actual task app wouldn't be sorted by time.
I really like the product and, yes, this needs to be made a priority.

I'd also like to have ordered list in any do moments.

Under LIST, it would be great if the list unfurled in chronological order based on the time each task was due, that way I could simply work through the list from top to bottom.

This would be an excellent feature. One of the benefits of Any.do is being able to "visualize" and prioritize your day(s) through different perspectives (by date, category, etc.). Seeing everything out order is disconcerting and frustrating.

Seems obvious to me but when I assign a time, the task does not automatically sort, and there's no quick sort option. So I find myself manually clicking on all of the tasks to see if I have a time assigned to it, and then dragging them in to order, which is a real drag. Please auto-sort the tasks by time. The items without a time assigned can go to the bottom. For a non time assigned item the user always has the option of starring, so there's no worry about the important non time assigned getting buried.
