How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. Show number of sub-tasks in the card-view please

    When I have entered sub-tasks in a project it would be awesome to see some sort of notification like a ball with a number. Otherwise I simply don't see the sub-tasks.

  2. Rethink subscription model

    I only needed to sync my iCloud reminders with Android for a while after I lost my phone and had to use Android temporarily. Any.do doesn't sync with my Mac's Reminders app. You should work on that.

    Not only that, Apple doesn't charge for syncing Notes, Reminders and Calendar which is basically what Any.do does. Neither does Google. Why on earth would I pay for services that run natively on a given platform?--on a third party that won't sync in the background if the app is not asleep somewhere.

    I'd gladly pay upfront for your app, after all you put…

    Any.do has released a sync between tasks and Apple Reminders so that your reminders are shown in your app :)

  3. Categorize tasks by due date using red yellow green

    I'm a college student using this application for everything from assignments to tasks for clubs I'm in. It can be very confusing to have to go back and forth between this application and my calendar to see when something is due. I often get assignemtns on a tuesday that aren't due for a week, but i still need to have them in the app or ill forget. Best way to automate this would be to prompt users when entering the task to give a date for when something is due. Then the colors are associate based on the due date.…

  4. Sinc with calendar and add flashing screen light for remainders

    Sinc in between calenders will be great as it will help manage day better. Also remainders can have flashing screen light when the phone is in silent mode

    allow siri to open the app by saying "hey siri open any do". Currently it does not know of any app called any do.

  8. Notes

    Any. do allows a user to create a note and attach it to a task. But sometimes I want to create a stand alone note to record some information without attaching it to a task. I could use Evernote or One Note but they are complicated apps when all that is needed is an electronic post-it. A fifth classification, Notes, could be added to Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming and Someday to store and organize the notes. This would enhance Any. do's functionality. Whaddya think Any. do?

  10. Product: Integrate AI to answer user questions about planned activities

    It would be great to ask an AI on WhatsApp or within the app about all planned activities for a specific period, like, "What do I need to attend in the morning?"

    Additionally, I don’t like how the WhatsApp integration was implemented. It feels too rigid, responding strictly to requests without understanding the context. It assumes that everything I type is about adding a new task, which is frustrating. A AI can solve this also.

  13. Estimated time to "to do" and integrate with Calendar

    Allow a time estimation feature on a to-do that integrates with Calendar. Also - be able to change a calendar item to a "to do" item and visa versa

  14. make connection between Exchange Contacts with Any.do

    It is difficult to get Exchange mail contact lists into Any.do, I wish Any.do can make good connection between Exchange contacts and calendar.

  15. Allow editing of events in Cal mobile

    I have a recurring meeting (carpool) that I respond to, and that I frequently need to edit my response to from the mobile app. Example - I head out the door and realize I'm running too late, I need to change my carpool response to "no" but currently cal has this event as "read only". I then have to open the clunky native calendar app to change my response, when otherwise I use cal 100% of the time.
