Product: Allow to merge tasks/ lists
Sometimes we create to do list items that are really are all part of one big project. So this would make organization faster for your subtask features.

These are all good ideas. Action from Any. do?

Yeah, please, let us group all "call somebody" tasks to one task with its subtasks!

when deleting a list, offer the ability to port tasks to another list (instead of deleting them WITH the list.

Had the same idea. Would be awesome; especially if you start out typing tasks and only afterwards realise they somewhat belong together. Without this feature things can get messy or you need to delete and recreate tasks...

The ability to drag and drop a task into another task to thereby make the first task a child / sub-task of the second task.

Sometimes I enter the same task, with different titles, and different comments into my list (example: if someone sends me information from email, through a shared list with someone else or I just forgot I had already added the task earlier with different information in it)- I would like to be able to just chose those few tasks (usually it's 2 to 4 repeating entries), and with one click or drag combine them into 1 task that has all the related information together in once place.

While conceptualizing Tasks & Sub-Tasks for a project, we sometimes end-up mixing the two (adding sub task as Main task and vice-versa). We realize this later during a relook or review as we track progress of tasks. Therefore, would like to see a drag/drop facility which allows me to merge two tasks (i.e. If I drag Task-A on Task-B, A becomes sub Task of B). Similarly if I drag a sub-Task OUT of Main Task, the sub task becomes another Main Task. I believe this feature, together with the drag/drop reordering of sub-task (already planned by Any.Do) would be very useful to users.
