Next 7 Days: Add backlog list
Next 7 Days view is really useful for planning, however all new tasks are added in the "Today" column and then get dragged along if the task is not planned or completed.
It would be convenient if new tasks are appended to a backlog/new column where they can be planned in when necessary. This cleans up the "Today" column, giving a more clear view on what actually has to happen today.

This feature is really critical for the "Next 7 Days" page.
Like others mentioned below, We sometimes need to keep some tasks under the eyes even we have doubt to complete them during that week but want to keep them as backlog for maybe only 2-3 days later.
Else we lose them or need to push them back day after day or have them accumulate which is really not convenient.
Pls add that one column for Backlog in the "Next 7 Days" page, that would be so helpful!! -

A permanent end column on the right hand side of the 7 day listings for backlog tasks would be extremely useful.
I use the next 7 days feature the most, and am constantly moving tasks that cannot be completed from the 'Today' column to other days, even if I know I am likely not able to complete them within the week - but it allows me to focus on the tasks for Today.
If we had a backlog column on this screen to move tasks to temporarily, we would have a place to store them until I have a free week where I can move them back to the desired day to complete!
