Agree wholeheartedly. Moving a task into a schedule block of time allows users to better map their days and increase productivity. Conversely it allows users to see when they've potentially over committed to tasks for the day and re-allocate time accordingly

Here is an example workflow...

- User assigned 5 tasks for the day
- User opens task and clicks “create an event”
- I also think this is what the current "Plan My Day" function should allow. Here are all the things I want to get done (task list), and this is when I will get them done (tasks created into events)
- System pre-populates event data from respective fields in the task. Date defaults to current day. User can modify date. Start time defaults to current. User can modify time.
- User completes tasks throughout the day, marking them complete throughout
- User experiences an unexpected time request and is unable to complete the final two tasks of the day
- User can modify due for the task if desired, otherwise task it is denoted as Overdue
- User can modify calendar event if new time is known or wait and create an event again from the task

For years I have used my calendar as a task organizer. When I heard that Any.do syncs with my calendar I was excited until I synced my calendar. That is when I discovered that all my "tasks" in my calendar are still locked in my calendar and to get them into Any.do I have to manually add them. I would like to see a feature where I can choose whether or not to treat my current calendar events as events or tasks when I sync.

I'd love to click on an event or a meeting I scheduled on Any. Do and be able to add lists, to dos, tasks, subtasks etc. Could make the app even more useful and awesome.

Tasks are more likely to be completed when scheduled. This is all about getting things done.

Absolutely, there should be a possibility to block slots ( 0-*) for task in your calendar when the user can schedule to work on a given task if it takes more than just a few minutes.

I love your app, but I'm really missing this feature.

I feel this is particularly important because with ability to make Tasks into (timed) Events you get ability to perform that task as an event where due time of the task is the end time of the event. Listing tasks and assigning due date/time usually do not help us
to get started, rather with ability convert it into an event makes it easy to visualize in time frame and you are more likely to finish it by the due date/time. What we really are requesting here to help us add start time for the task.. due time will already be there and thus the task will get converted to an event.

It would be awesome if we could set a time block for the task and then have it show up in our Google calendar.

Is there a way to change tasks to calendar events? If not can this feature be added? It would be incredibly useful to have.

Please add this feature that'll make switching from tasks to events much easier.

Tune tasks into events.

For example: you have to do task A, it will take ~ 30 minutes. You add it as a task on Sunday, on Wednesday you see that on Thursday there is time for task A. Now you turn the task into an event and place it in the open timeslot.
