Hi,
I think that the option to set time of task (e.g meeting on Sunday at 0900) in addition to alert at specific time is a must have feature
Example :
I want to set reminder which alert me at Sunday 2000 for a meeting which plan to be on monday at 0900Think about it,
Thanks!

I think the main thing is mark a calendar event done quickly rather than having to delete it.

This would be very benificiary.
To move task for today and concentrate on how much aggregate time it takes to complete -

Due to this feature we can take a view of whole on one glance.example tution from 1pm to 2 pm or Take grocery at 5pm to 5:30pm etc...in short please add calendar view ,month view ,day view, hour view ....thank you...plz pay attention on this...

... or events that act like tasks. I want to be able to block off the time required to complete a task within my calendar, but I also want to be able to check it off as complete when it is done. This would be in line with the latest productivity wisdom regarding time management, and I'm not sure if there is an app that has this feature yet.

Great to be able to set start and end times of events in addition to reminders.

I usually work with the rule if its less than 2 minutes do it now, and it works really well for almost everything, if i could see all my ten minute tasks at a glance, i could get them done on my spare time, but now they are all mixed with the rest od the tasks and when they are on a mixed list I prioritize, aNd the smaller less important tasks often get relegated

In other apps, there are two facilities that I like them so much.
1.sometime I want to do something today but I want to define a timeframe for it. For example 8:00AM to 9:30AM. (Any.do just show the start time).
2. Sometimes I want to do a work or note a birthday, so I don't need adjust a special time, just I want to see All day. so please input all day key for that times we don't want to adjust the special time.

When we create a task it asks to set reminder but with that I want that it asks for time required to complete and when reminder pops up a timer start stating task headwind and time left to complete the task

I recommend you search for 'time duration' and place your votes there. This will help combine similar requests.

One of the beauties of this app is its simplicity. You're trying to make it work like a project planner. I suggest keeping Any.do simple and NOT adding this feature.

How is the possibility of a form for input of tasks asking for the amount of time a particular task is going to take from the user and then the app automatically schedules the task to a date and time slot that is free in the calendar.
This would help us in not spending time to schedule a time and reminder. It may ask in the end as to say " Shall I schedule this task to 3 o'clock on 04 nov and remind you a day and 10 mins earlier?"
This can be customized by the user with appropriate time gaps available to various heads like "home" or "personal" or "work " according to the tabs created by the user.
For tasks being added under the head "work" as we would work during 1000 to 1700 hrs so tasks with timing prompted accordingly. So if the tabs are once customised the time schedule can be done easily and avoid too much keyboard entry. This will definitely give a sense of time target and increase productivity. -

Just bumped into the same situation. I need to define ETA for every task. It should be visible in the list to sort them easily.
Thanks! -

I would really like this feature for several reasons. Sometimes you just take too much tasks on your plate for one day, seeing how much time you think your tasks will take can help in this. Any.do could even make suggestions for several tasks you could do in between your appointments using Cal.
In general it can be difficult to make a guess for how long a task will take, but I'm sure you'll get better in it over time.

I think this would be really amazing to have it auto schedule a gap in your schedule when you can get things done.

This way you can say how long a task will take you to complete, like 3 hours or so, this way you can plan your daily do's better. You can see this task will cost me so much time, I better do another simple task on the same day and plan tasks that take only a few minutes on another day!

I'd like to assign a time estimate to a task and be able to sort by that estimate. Then, if I only have an hour, I could see which tasks I could tackle without looking over the whole list.
