UI: Add zoom / resize for desktop
I would like to zoom or resize so that I can drag and drop without having to scroll as well as get as much onto one screen as possible. There is a lot of wasted space of both the app and on the PC.
The desktop apps now support the option to zoom in and out using the command +/- keys :)

I oppose it looks great and modern

Wish I could add more votes to this point, this is a much needed feature for Web and OSX desktop client, currently if I size the window to a column view, only about 8 tasks can be displayed. Compared to Wunderlist, Reminders & Swipes the app looks comical.
Agree with the much needed enhancement to make the task and buttons more visible, through gradient or more defined borders.
Please please please fix this, I'm certain that any.do is the task management app of my dreams, however it's un-usable in the current form on OSX. You have it spot on right on the iPhone.

On iPhone, the grid view is nice... but each tile only has a "x items" written. That's a lot of wasted space on the screen. Could you make the tiles smaller (less white space below the "x items" comment)

Too much white space, especially on website. Need to shrink it down so more tasks can be seen without scrolling down. I suggest upping the contrast with the gray line in between each task to give each task more distinction.

put less space between items on list so that you see more on a screen

good point, in the web overview I would also prefer to have smaller boxes as there is no more information in the boxes
as I am always working with several (scaled down) browser windows at a time. -

The boxes for tasks on the desktop version are pretty call, and I only have so much screen space. Each task essentially takes up 3 lines of screen space unnecessarily.
There should be an option to minimize the vertical height of a given task so that more tasks can be shown on a list at a time.

Amazing request. The all list is so annoying and unnecessary for some if not most.

....or offer a method to adjust it. This would make managing and prioritizing tasks easier, simply because you can see more of them on your screen at the same time.

Resize task list

I am not one to normally complain but I have always been a huge fan of Any.do but I think this latest update is a big step backwards. This is one of the biggest issues and the fact that the categories don't collapse anymore. I don't think there is anything about this version I like better than the last.

I agree. Also the amount of white space at the top of the web app is ridiculous. There is no need for the blue category to be so big and take up so much space. My hope is that the typographic hierarchy returns to emphasizing the to do items rather than the interface ..

In list view the space provided to disply only name of list and no of taks is too big. Instead provide space just enough to show what isin that space. This will help to see all lists at a time and avoid unnecessary scrolling if lists are more than 6.

make that giant 'All' at the top hideable!
(on IOS app)
i don't use lists, so it just eats one row for nothing, taking space and grabbing attention permanently.seriously, you had best laconic interface before adding this 'feature'; now you became worse than others (e.g. Swipe)

Yes please, same on Windows!
I like shrinking any.do to the left half of my screen while entering my tasks. But the columns are still incredibly large, forcing me to resize any.do to take up at least 75% of my screen.

I don't need a full window on my Mac with the list, I want a minimalistic view that just shows white space + to do items. The smallest your columns go are still incredibly large and the to do items do not resize, so menu items disappear behind the UI - really frustrating because I want to use the desktop app but I feel like it's more cumbersome than it needs to be.

Note: this is for every app .)
for example on my MacBook Air 11'' Any.DO app is bigger than Photoshop O.o

I agree completely. This is one of the comments I came here to make. This should be a really easy fix. If nothing else, just reduce the white space in general in each task box.
