Please give the option to have a Task repeat x number of days/weeks/months/etc. from the date the Task was marked completed.

TickTick, Todoist, Things, RTM and many others support this feature. Why is this taking so long?

This function is free on wunderlist and should be free here as well, I still use wunderlist because of this function

Go for Astrid tasks folks. Though its discontinued and wont sync its still useful. It has the recurring tasks feature to repeat from "due date" or "completion date"

I require many of my recurring tasks to reset at an interval from the date of COMPLETION. Otherwise the app is just another calendar with tasks scheduled at fixed repeated dates. Can Any.do do this? I don't want to pay for a subscription only to find out that this capability is missing.

Based on the March 10, 2017 comment Any.do must still be lacking this feature, which is a show stopper for me too. I require many of my recurring tasks to reset at an interval from the date of COMPLETION. Otherwise the app is just another calendar.

Sadly, this is one of 2 showstoppers for me paying for this. Implement this & I'll reconsider subscribing. Thanks.

Recurring actions are nice but an important pattern is missing: Create an alert x days/weeks/months after the action has been completed.

This option was available on an earlier version of this app before it became so big. I don't understand why it was taken away. I bought the premium version specifically because I thought it would include this option.

Only thing missing in the app right now! Please fix. Extra option with recurring tasks : "from due date" or "from completion date"

Agreed. Need recurring task feature. Major disappointment that it is not there.

This completely bums me out. Why don't ToDo app creators get how central and key this is to having an app that actually is useful. They all seem to make the same mistake and treat a ToDo app like a replacement for a calendar. It is not! It must support the notion of recurring tasks from the date of completion or it is uselessly creating repeating tasks based off of an interval that is completely unrelated to when someone actually does the work. AGAIN - If I wanted it to work like a calendar, I would just use my calendar app.
OmniFocus gets this right, but unfortunately doesn't support multiple users sharing tasks / lists. Wunderlist works well, but it also doesn't support recurring tasks after completion. Todist supports this, but then it doesn't support standard Mac key bindings so is frustrating as hell.
Please fix this so I can tell everyone that there's a product that FINALLY got it right!
THANKS! -

I just bought premium hoping the new "custom recurring tasks" would support this but it doesn't. I need to be able to set a task to recur after completion. So if I set a task to recur every 2 weeks, each time I complete it, it counts 2 weeks from that day and sets it.

I want to expand or clarify the suggestion above. Repeating events on specific times and specific days is great but its elementary logic.
When you have a repeated task, sometimes the task isn't done at the specified time/day for very good reasons. If I have a weekly task and I skip this week I don't want to delete it or have two on my list (last week and this week). Instead I want to do the task for this week and have it set the next one for the time/day based on when I completed it.

The premium any.do allows for repeat by day of month or day of week, which is like repeat by due date, but there still doesnt seem any options for repeating a task by completion date.
Requesting tasks to have "repeat by completion date".
