Please make the category of the grocery list editable. Others category is not that helpful to others

I really like this suggestion because "pantry" is too generic. I would love to be able to rename an existing category to "Cereal" or "Soup" or "International" to more fit with how my grocery store is set up. I would also like to be able to sort items within the category. For example, I know I'm going to grab strawberries before potatoes in my store first, but if I add potatoes to my list first, I cannot manually re-sort the list so that strawberries are at the top of that category like I can with a regular list.

I too feel this would be a good enhancement. I'd also like to be able hide the isles that do not have any unchecked items in them. This would mean more screen space left for the things that are still needed. Of course being able to toggle this back on/off would be needed for preparing the next shopping trip list.

This really need to be done, otherwise the shoppinglist is not very useful

there are many other kinds of shopping that this kind of list will be helpful for... please allow us to create OUR OWN category titles in the next update!

Examples:
*school supply shopping
*hobby shopping
*hardware store shopping
*Christmas Shopping
*and many more!

I was so disapointed after paying for a premium membership and discovering we didn't have more control over categories. I figured we would at least be able to ad new ones or rename existing ones.

Have been using Any.do EVERYDAY since 2014 and can't imagine surviving without it. Thanks & congratulations developers for your excellent work.
Started using 'Grocery' recently. There are many Indian grocery items not in the list. All these get categorised under others which is not so handy when purchasing.
Would also prefer fruits and vegetables to be separated as different entities.
Would be really happy if I could edit the category list in Grocery.

I use many spice so adding all spices to pantry just clutters the pantry category which already holds so much (almost half of my grocerry list).
And there's no other suitable category for them
Also would be great if you can change the category while adding the item.

Personally, the number of categories is enough for me. I only need to be able to edit the names as I don't use a whole bunch of categories that are on there

I agree with this request too! I have also used Grocery IQ, until I really needed something that’s more of an all-in-one. Recently I’ve been using Wunderlist, but I really want something that has more features, especially one that communicates better with Alexa. I think with a few tweaks, your program will really work for me!

Furthermore, it would be nice to be able to add notes/images/amounts/etc. to each grocery list item (similar to present task functionality).

I would really like to add my own categories in lists so I can personalize to my project inventories. I would like to make 3 travel lists that are linked. One with purse contents, one with carryon contents and one with suitcase contents to organize frequent travels. Could do the same with art supplies and cabinets etc. I don’t want them cluttering my daily todo lists. Love the program!!

Such as adding "canned meat" in addition to the already included category of "pantry".
