How Can We Improve Any.Do?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. UI: Enable full-screen view

Instead of maximizing the window the green button should make it full screen. The beautiful Any.do design should have it's own dedicated space away from all the clutter.

    • UI: Update to retina

The top menu bar on the Mac has an Any.do icon. It's pixelated because its not retina ready. Seems quick and easy to fix?

      • UI: Add option to hide from dock on Mac

Given that there is an Any.do icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen, there should be an option to hide the icon from the dock like many other apps that have a menu bar icon (see Google Drive for an example, among others).

            • Integrate Mineful to make premium free

Mineful.co lets you mine cryptocurrency in the background to pay for things, and I like Anydo and want to get premium. It would make it free for me and you would still make the full premium profits.

              • Calendar view on desktop app

Why does the phone app have calendar view, but not the desktop app? All the events and tasks that are organized by specific dates on the phone are not visible on the desktop! Super inconvenient, since i would like to be able to see and add these events while working on my mac as well.

The last update from the Any.Do team said this feature was soon on its way back in 2017, yet it doesn’t seem like anything has changed. Please add the calendar view on the mac app!

                • Show only selected categories in Desktop app

In my Work laptop, I would like to only see items inside Work category. And notifications only from the shown items.

                      • Stop auto adding reminders/days/times to new tasks

The July 2018 update created an auto reminder/day/time for each new task I create. It is annoying to have to delete that auto created information and then move the task back to the upcoming list where I want instead of on “today” where I didn’t originally create it but the task moved to after I deleted the automatically added reminder info.
