Lists: Configuration options
Give user more flexibility to configure Lists as he wishes (instead of just the Edit list name and set as default). It could have options like:
List Badge: None / Today / All (better to have this here than in the general Settings/Preference
List Displayed Times: Blank (like the gocery list) / Today & Future / Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming, Someday
Item Default due date: Blank / Today / Tomorrow / Future / Long Term
Add List to Moment: Yes / No
List Template (or Item Behavior): Task List / Grocery List / Movie List /
Life Goals List – this could drive the general look of the list and how the items in the list will behave or look like. This could be the first option on the list settings and could drive the default values of the settings above. Here are some examples of how items could behave differently depending on the list template I choose:
For Grocery list – When I add one or more items to it the APP should automatically add an item on my default list (like: “Do Groceries”). When all items in the grocery list are completed, the APP should remove the “Do Grocery” from my default list. On the item strip (where you have a Star, list, reminder, notes, share) you could replace reminder with price (allow me to capture the price of the item). The reminder should be on the “Do Groceries” item in the default list only.
For Movie – the item strip could have a five-start rating. Integration with Fandango would be great.
For Life Goals – it would be great to have a life goals list. Then when I enter an item on my default task list it could allow me to tag it to one of my life goals. It would be great to track how many of tasks relate to life goals. Do like the 7 habits of highly effective people. Maybe I can get a nice dashboard that shows to me how I am spending my time against my life goals!
