Product: Select default add date (today/ tomorrow/ someday)
We appreciate everyone's input regarding this suggestion! At this time, this type of feature is not on our agenda but should it be relevant in the future we will reactivate this request :)
Please note that tasks are added automatically under Today as part of our productivity features so users can prioritize those items and use My Day to assign due dates as needed.
If you wish to add to any of the other categories, you're able to:
On mobile - tap the + icon next to the relevant time category and add the tasks directly under it.
On desktop - simply use the multi-column sorting to add the task directly to the column of your choosing.

Hi there, I think there should be an option to add a new task to desired day. But as of now, any new task added gets added to "today" and I have to individually drag each task to " Someday". Thanks in advance.

It would be great to be able to turn off automatic generation of reminders when putting in a new task. I personally don't use the reminders feature often, and so am always having to turn it off.

It's very annoying to manually drag an item through a hundred other items to place it into "someday". If a date isn't added when the task is created, it should default to someday. If I add a date then place the task in the appropriate grouping "today" or "tomorrow".

Very useful option! I need it. Please add an option to set where 'add' button should put tasks by default.

Today should be clear!

Totally voting for this. There should be an option to choose where 'add' floating button should put our tasks.

Either having "Someday" as default, or at least giving it as an option while setting date. I don't even understand why this is not built from the begining.
As it is, the bulk of the tasks are left on "Today" while they are not overdue. It actually affects the usefulness of the app. This should be valid for all OS, including the web browser. As it is, it's just limited and forces to manually go drag&drop which is impossible...

How do I access the Someday folder to efit/complete tasks parked there? Not clear. Eric

This needs to happen ASAP. It is super annoying having to drag things over to "someday". I would use all my votes on this if I could. Everything gets piled up in "moment".

I'll assign a date if I want to. Otherwise, I don't need a due date.
This is the only thing keeping me from using any.do daily. Most of my tasks are not time-sensitive (or are something I just need to do in a month, etc)
I don't want to have to change all my tasks to "someday" manually.
Please consider adding this soon.
