Please let us add due dates without times! I just wanna clean my room on Sunday - I don't care at what time!

For remainding us before 15 minutes/at our custom time from the time of task, we can be ready for that task, we can be prepared for that, It will be in our mind and we can be alert for that doing that work, we can move from wasting time or from any place or any situation. Need this feature compulsory 200% Understand it and vote.

Agreed: It is essential for any meaningful planning. For example, I have a presentation to give on Friday, I need to start working on it on Monday. I set a reminder for Monday, but already on Tuesday it shows as overdue with no real indication of the TRUE due date.
Such functionality would also enable a gant chart / schedule view (as other applications offer), which would greatly increase Any.do's appeal.

Recurring Task Feature
Need to be able to select Year you want task to end vs having to scroll thru wheel to select year

This is great feature which i am also looking for... any.do team, need such time set for each task

Yes, please add Due Date or Date of Completion. There may practically be no task without a completion date. This will help users stay accountable for their own benefit. I would have needed that option for sure.

Why do hardly any todo list apps have this feature. How do people manage without it?!
I'm currently stuck with Remember The Milk because it's the only app I've found that does this (add duration to tasks and see total duration for all tasks in a day).RTM doesn't have a great interface, so I'd love to see this feature added to any.do so that I can move over to using this instead.
Please, please pretty please?!

1st step: Possibility to estimate how much time you will spent on the task.
2nd step: Schedule it - see it on the calendar blocking the estimated time. (like event but with checkbox) -

I don't always want a reminder set. This should be a user choice when the task is created or edited.

Yes. Please add this feature. I used this to-do app back in colleger that allowed me to set when I was planning to start a task and when I wanted Due by. Very useful and helped me stay organized. Only issue with that app is that I can't set reminders or even better, multiple reminders, and that I can't share my tasks with others. I would vote 10 more times for this feature.

This is the 10th to do type app I've tried. They are all useless and randomly miss totally basic functionalities like this.
Why do I HAVE to assign a time to a task? What is the logic? Something that HAS to have a time for it is an EVENT not a task, and should go in your calendar. There are also inconsistencies between the web version and the ios version with regards to this.Looks like people have been asking for 2 years for this, and nothing done? These companies are all the same.

Adding my two cents to this push as well.
I got any.do when I started uni in the hope of helping me organise my everything.
To be able to set todo dates for tasks and then set alarms if wanted would be great, and frankly something I really expected of this app. -

I would like to have the ability to add a due date for sub tasks as well. There are often sub tasks within a task that need a due date added to them so I can get reminders of those.

Just wanted to add to the chorus here - I was looking at Any.do as a replacement for the soon-to-shut-down Wunderlist - not being able to assign due dates is an absolute dealbreaker. If you are looking to capture the people leaving Wunderlist, you should add this asap - people don't change to-do list apps en masse like this very often.

Please, I want to be able to see events without a due time on my calendar. Otherwise, every time I create an event, I must add a due time and that's too much maintenance. That really shouldn't take you too much time to implement
