Views: Date view by time
Tasks based on the "reminder" is arranged in every category. means each " reminder" or "time" is closer to be in the front row automatically.
Lists can now be sorted by timeline! Web app has just been updated, mobile versions are being released and desktop will be updates very soon as well ;)

And what about just sorting tasks by date on the Task View?

Hi Any.doers!
Please check out our latest status update and write down in a comment whether you agree with this type of solution so we can make our final decision regarding this feature :)

While sorting the task by time, it does not get sorted by time of the day. The tasks must be sorted by the time of the day also in ascending or descending order as per the choice so that one might plan to get the tasks completed accordingly one by one. This is very important.

Sort taks by date, not just today, tomorrow and upcoming. Create a sort by date option so that on the main page and the main page of the app, you can see today, tommorrow and each day of the following week and then allow the program to swipe left and/or right to see additional dates…then to get even crazier, allow the program to sort by task type within the date sort. If this program could do that, it would stop my long search for the perfect to do list.

Just had the email from the CEO saying that this would be put on hold due to complexities in trying to get this to work nicely. Can imagine the potential conflict / confusion, and including multi-platform sync I’m sure makes it another level more complicated.
How about as a solution, to do reordering by due date and time on demand? So the idea is to provide an additional function available to the user to click and it will take any entries that have a due date and time, and re-order them at the top of each of the Today / Tomorrow / Upcoming groups by due time. This is essentially what I’m doing anyway one by one by hand, so I don’t perceive any additional complexity from a syncing point of view (the new function is just a collection of individual reorders done in sequence, the same ones I would have done manually). Straight after the function is complete, the user can still manually reorder things. So this way, the app still maintains the base concept that ordering is manual, but you just have this “helper” button / function that helps you reorder it by due time each time you press it.
This would really make a big difference to the experience. In doing this, I can just look down my list from top to bottom and just work through it sequentially. I know you can see an order as such in the calendar view, but in all honesty this is not the main view used on a practical moment moment basis - its the to do list view.

Just got an email from the team saying that this is being put on hold. I've already switched off to another to do app due to this issue.
If this can't be implemented in a reasonable time then it either means the code is spaghetti or they had a complete lack of understanding of a pretty common use case. Either way, not something that I feel like paying for.

Idea was translated to English in order to comply with our user guidelines!
If you have anything more to add, you are welcome to add it to the comment section :) -

It is a much-needed feature.
Because I have a separate list for my Timetable but when I see it, the tasks are just shown randomly in order of their creation time. But they should be shown in the order of the time allotted to them i.e the time of reminder. Also, why not give the feature for sorting the tasks in order of different times like creation date, completion date, allotted or reminder time, due date etc like the Microsoft Windows do.
It will be very helpful as it is very tedious to scroll down and click on every task to find the next task to complete.
Also, the time and date should be shown without clicking on it, as is a hefty task to click on every task to see the time. -

This needs to occur in the List mode as well, not just calendar mode. Please remedy this!

Using Calendar view is not an option because I do not want my calendar integrated with my to do list. They should be sorted chronologically even in the to do list view. Also I don't like that deleted comments sort
to the bottom and you have to scroll down to finish the deletion process. -

Seems pretty basic that when you see a list of upcoming tasks you want at the same time to be able to see when they have to be done by.

This really is a sought after feature in the Android app. Please Consider, sorting task according to due date

This should be a standard feature for a to-do list. I'm trying to stick with this app but the lack of organisation features make it really hard to use effectively. Basic filtering and ordering features should be a top priority. How is it that date view doesn't organise tasks by date? There are free apps that offer these kinds of features, please take seriously the importance of being competitive with them. Many thanks

Having tasks sorted in time order would be great too. I look at my list for the day but there is no order to the time that the alarm/reminder has been set for. When I add a new task it goes to teh top of the list even if the alarm is set for much later than other tasks
