How Can We Improve Any.Do?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Views: Date view by time

Tasks based on the "reminder" is arranged in every category. means each " reminder" or "time" is closer to be in the front row automatically.

    Hey Any.doers,

This type of modification to the Date View will affect the entire logic of the app’s functionality – concerning the reordering of tasks and their automatic assignment to their due dates. Accordingly, we will not be able to execute such a request for the time being.

However, what we can do (and will do, based on your feedback here) is add a time stamp of the Reminder’s time to both the Calendar and the Task Views – see images attached to the main idea.

Will this be a good replacement?

  2. Integration: Sync directly with Siri

Direct sync without having to sync with Apple reminder. Use voice (Siri) to get the next task, next 3 tasks, to complete a task, and plan the day.

  3. Grocery list: Add multiple items

Each time I enter an item into the grocery list it takes me back to the list of tasks I want the ability to add as many items as I like, almost as if I am writing a list!

  4. Product: Designated features for Android

    * Less intrusive alerts on android. Adopt Lollipop notification system
    * Add setting to allow notifications within Any.do to appear as Android notifications in phone status bar
    * Restore compatibility to native SHARE functionality on android
    * Add refresh button for android widget.
    * Add to Any.Do from Android share
    * Show swipe interaction
    * android picture: add option to "share with any.do"
    * Incorporate material design into the Android app, please?
    * Make a "temporarily disable" feature for light use/users. Average battery use = 20% (optimised Android) & swallows data allowance on sync.
    * Swipe done from swipe down…

  6. Integration: Multiple Apple reminders lists

I love that iOS reminders syncing support is now offered, but I have many many lists for many purposes.. and now Any.do is jam-packed with items from the reminders app.

It would be quite helpful if I could specifically select which lists are synced (like the selection mechanism for calendars). Currently there are 2 states - sync all lists with reminders or sync no lists. Maybe there's some middle ground in there :-)

*Sync both ways Apple Reminders <-> Any.do

  7. Reminders: Multiple items for recurrences/ show completed recurrences

Once a recurring task is completed, it should be reflected as any other completed task. Right now, the task is always shown even once it's done because eventually it needs to be done again. This means you never really have the satisfaction of completing the task, and tend to ignore when it's actually time to do it because it's just always hanging around...

My suggestion would be for recurring tasks to disappear from the list once completed, and reappear the day before the task is set to recur.
