How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  3. Dark mode on desktop/web/mac/windows

    I voted for all the dark mode tickets a year ago.. still no dark mode. The android app has had it this whole time. I mostly use it on my laptop, every time I check my tasks I get blinded by the PURE WHITE!

    I paid for premium I NEED dark mode.. please? This issue may drive me to a new app..

    While searching , it does not looks for tags.

  5. Views: Weekly Task Views

    There should be a Task List view where you can see all week days subcategories.

    The app support the option to view the calendar in a weekly view but this view is not supported at Task list, where you can see only Today, Tomorrow and Upcoming.

    Every weekend I try to plan my tasks for the week and not having a weekly view makes harder to distribute and mensure how many tasks I have each day, since all tasks that I'm not planning to do Today or Tomorrow are put together at Upcoming subcategory.

  6. Timer/Count-Down Clock

    It would be wonderful to have a countdown clock - where it can keep track of my time for a particular task. Similar to this app I downloaded.

  7. minimize to system tray when close

    for windows app, when I click the close button of any.do's window, it just quits, that's bad.

  8. Enable tags and task coloring in Mac App

    On the Mac App tags and tasks colors are not being displayed, it's very useful to be able to color tasks to differentiate them, for example I use the colors to know what I need to do at work and what needs to be done after work. But I can't see the colors in the Mac App

  9. Complete landscape views on Android platforms so the use of an attached keyboard can be used.

    Need to code all edit, create and update functions to recognize landscape mode on an android system and function in landscape mode and also function against the landscape no landscape key on the Android system.

  10. Automatically arrange "upcoming tasks" chronologically

    At the moment my tasks for next year are shown with my tasks for next week, in no particular order. This isn't helpful at all for planning my week. I try to manually rearrange, but whenever I add new tasks for next week they get added to the bottom of the list. E.g. When I reschedule a task in Any. Do Moment for next week, it gets added to the bottom of the upcoming view, below tasks that are due months from now... Would be so much better if they could appear above those tasks automatically.   11. Calendar Search

    This app desperately needs a calendar search feature... right now it only exists for tasks. I have literally had to open my google calendar to search for an event I could not track manually in this app. That I had to work around this with another app is what makes me hesitate from any subscription...

  12. Apple Watch: adding reminders without Siri

    I work in an office environment and want to make use of Apple Watch. It's inappropriate in a quiet environment to shout 'remind me to buy card for mother' at the app. Apple Watch has the ability to type, all be it slowly. This would be a great addition to the App and make it usable for me!

    Already an option, just tap ‘add task’ to create a new task.

  13. Product: Print from new Web app

    With a busy family, it would be great to be able to print a weekly task list or calendar from the Web App.

  17. Don’t auto open “I want to” screen

    I most often look at my All Tasks screen. It’s irritating when I scroll down to get to the top and this “I want to...” screen automatically opens.

    I close it every time without using it and it just a waste of time.

    Maybe have a bar at the top you can enter text if you want to use it ... but not auto open upon scrolling.

    With changes coming to Android Q, the pop up will be adapted to show only when tapping the reminder’s notification :)

    As Any.do is always optimized to comply with the latest Android version, we will not be expanding this compatibility to previous Android version.

  19. snooze

    When program remind me a task and i want snooz it for tomorow the program has some limit and it just sugest me: ( 3 hours later, tomorow & ... ) but maybe i want to snooze it for two days later at 14:55. I think if program snooze has more option to edit time its better. Thanks

    We already released a custom snooze option for Android in our latest version :)

  20. iPhone X Compatibility

    Hop on the train! I’ve been using todoist and any.do for a couple years now. Todoist was top charts but I’ve always felt something missing. Until I got the smoothness and elegant look of any.do. Nothing beats it. Until the iPhone X was released and the TestFlight still doesn’t ya e screen compatibility. Let’s go any.do I know you guys can do it
