When you click on "done" button from the notifications, it checks out that task. However if there are sub-tasks which are present in the that task, can you create pop-up asking "have you completed the sub tasks as well?" This way people won't miss completing the sub task by clicking done on the main task (can happen since only main task appears on the notification)
