How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

    With changes coming to Android Q, the pop up will be adapted to show only when tapping the reminder’s notification :)

    As Any.do is always optimized to comply with the latest Android version, we will not be expanding this compatibility to previous Android version.

  2. Reminders: Recurrence from date of completion

    Please give the option to have a Task repeat x number of days/weeks/months/etc. from the date the Task was marked completed.

  3. Dark mode on desktop/web/mac/windows

    I voted for all the dark mode tickets a year ago.. still no dark mode. The android app has had it this whole time. I mostly use it on my laptop, every time I check my tasks I get blinded by the PURE WHITE!

    I paid for premium I NEED dark mode.. please? This issue may drive me to a new app..

  4. Product: Create list/task from template

    It would be really nice, if there was a feature to make template tasks that could be put easily in any folder and i have to change the name or other stuff, because there are lots of tasks that are similar to each other in the subtasks and notes for example.

  5. UI: Add zoom / resize for desktop

    I would like to zoom or resize so that I can drag and drop without having to scroll as well as get as much onto one screen as possible. There is a lot of wasted space of both the app and on the PC.

  6. Tracking and Reports: Completed tasks report + search

    If your boss asks you for a report on your activities, Any.do would be able to create a report of all the tasks you've completed within a specified timeframe. Hopefully it would also contain statistics like "tasks per day" and "most productive day."

  8. Integration: Outlook / Outlook tasks

    I want to be able to 'attach' an outlook email to my task with drag+drop from the email list. It already shows up as a "drag and drop" green PLUS like it will work, but nothing happens.

    Whether it's a link to my email or a copy of the contents of the email, I want to be able to immediately "view" the original email i received which prompted this task.

  9. Billing: Family plan

    Any.do FAMILY have to nice in use sharing tasks with your short community, all changes seeing at once and no extra charges!!!!

  10. Grocery list: Add multiple items

    Each time I enter an item into the grocery list it takes me back to the list of tasks I want the ability to add as many items as I like, almost as if I am writing a list!

  12. Calendar: Allow to drag and drop tasks/ events

    Need to be able to drag and drop todo items in the calendar view like you can in the task view, this would enable you to use the calendar with both appointments and todos much more efficiently.

  13. Product: Option to delete non completed tasks

    I need everyone to vote for this because this is the most crucial and important feature yet it is not in this app.

    The ability to delete a friggin non completed task. I can't even complete a "someday" task..yet delete it cause it's not complete. This is so annoying. One of the biggest reasons why I'm not buying the premium version

    In our newest design for the task view, we offer the option to simply delete a task via a designated button :)

  14. Calendar: Add a daily/weekly/ monthly/ yearly view

    It would be super duper lovely to be able to scope out plans for the week, Sunday through Saturday with the days of the week as the headings. Thank you!

  15. Product: Convert tasks to events and vice versa

    It would be great if there was an option to convert tasks into appointments, and vice versa. This would allow users to easily create new appointments out of tasks or to reduce an appointment into a task.

  16. Tasks: Add pre requisites/ task reliability

    Allow tasks to have prerequisites or successors. (i.e. task A2 cannot be started until task A1 is completed. So, A2 remains in someday, until A2 is completed. Then prompt the user to schedule A2.) Similar to sub-tasks, but allows links between existing tasks.

  17. Product: Add checkbox

    Please add "checkbox" to tasks or lists so they can be "checked" off (and moved to "completed") instead of swiping. It would save time/energy of actually swiping.

  18. Search: Search notes/ subtasks

    I have used search, but it only searches the heading of the tasks...sometimes the word that I am looking for would be found in the notes section...please allow an option to search within the notes!!!

  19. Reminders: More reminder types (sms/ email etc)

    Consider adding a variety of task and or subtask notification/alarm types including desktop pop up notifications, sms or email messages.

    My current favorite app - ToDoist offers this functionality.
