How Can We Improve Any.Do for personal users?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Allow for more frequent reminders for recurring tasks, with more customization.

    I have to check specific things multiple times every hour. I'd like to be able to make recurring tasks have reminders every 15-30 minutes, every hour, two hours, twice or thrice a day, etc...
    As it stands I can only set recurring tasks to 'daily' reminder. So I guess I have to create many daily recurring tasks set for different times of day with a daily recurrence?

  2. Ability to drag tasks to DAY SCHEDULE and plan the day

    Ability to drag tasks to Calendar and plan the day
    After adding task to the list - One has the ability to drag the task to daily agenda and rearrange again.

    Have a timer running for the task in focus mode

    Example : Like the App SUNSAMA have done

  3. Screen wide 'Next 7 days' view

    I really like the feature that I can schedule what I want to do for the next 7 days in advance and use "Drag and Drop".

    I have a pretty wide monitor, but the last two days don't fit on it anymore, so I have to keep scrolling horizontally.

    Couldn't you make it so that you automatically match the size of the 7 days for the available space? Or at least don't have to scroll, have the task list pinned to the left.

  4. Desktop calendar

    Hi guys, pls add weekly and monthly calendar view on desktop! It is critical to see all the upcoming events. Pls reconsider this idea

  5. Possibility to edit or switch off shortcuts

    I think it should be implemented. I am using polish keyboard for writing polish letters, combination of ALT + S gives you Ś, for example. But when I try to type it in, quick reminder window pops up instead. I cannot see any way to edit shortcuts in Any.do unfortunately.

  7. Desktop badge notifications

    Mac/Windows desktop apps do not have badge notification. Please add it like we have it in iOS apps.

  12. I really need to see Notification longer!!! Notification should dissapear when I click on postpone or done

    For me is very very critical, when I am not on a computer and I didn't see a reminder, I basically miss it. So, it appears only for 2 seconds and dissappear.
    I need to see it even if I missed on desktop.

    I'm trying to phase out my Google account and have switched to the more secure Proton service. It would be nice to connect the two.

  15. Add an option for completed task to stay in place and not sink to bottom

    Add an option to just tick the task and not sink to bottom
    The task should not fade to gray and task should be on the place it is
    Only the task should be striked

    Add the option to decied whether it will sink or not.

  16. Compact view

    Since the recent update the task items have gotten taller in their size, which makes the whole list harder to overview and sort on a PC screen. Can you make it more compact or at least give a compact / wider view option? Sorting tasks in a specific order is a thing. It is a meditation process. It is a way of life. 😇

  17. Please bring old desktop UI back

    I thought I finally found a perfect, simple task list. High density of information on the desktop screen was essential, together with great mobile interface.

    Now new 'tiles' design completely changed this, made my simple todo list unusable. I can fit 8 cards on my screen. Additional information on card is useless to me.

    At least give us an option to use the old condensed list format please !

  19. Setting to remove icon from MenuBar (macOS)

    There would be a setting in the app "show icon in menuBar". Because right now as long as Any.do is opened, the icon is visible and there is no way to hide it.

    This makes me quit the app instead of closing the window, because I don't want this icon in my MenuBar.

  20. The calendar on desktop is gone

    Why the calendar disappeared? I love any.do, so simple, so friendly, but the fact I can't see my days ahead or even weeks anymore is frustrating. Why was it deleted? I can't even add an event anymore. But I can still see a global calendar and add events on my phone... Why can't we do it on desktop anymore? The only thing we can see is the current day on "my day" but it's not enough, we should be able the see all week, well just like it was a few days ago!! I know there is the "Next 7…
