Integrations: Add task descriptions w/context via ChatGPT
As a Family Plan subscriber, I love the existing Any.do + ChatGPT integration for managing tasks. However, I’d like to suggest an enhancement to make it even more powerful: enabling ChatGPT to add or edit task descriptions when creating or updating tasks.
For example, I often use ChatGPT to create a task plan for learning a new topic (e.g., "Learn Python basics"). It would be incredibly helpful if ChatGPT could populate the task description with additional context—like relevant websites, resources, or notes about what I need to focus on (e.g., "Check out python.org for basics and realpython.com for tutorials"). Currently,…

Integrations: Support subtasks in ChatGPT
Enable Sub-Task Creation and Management via ChatGPT Integration (Written and Voice).
As a Family Premium user, I’ve linked Any.do to ChatGPT and love using it to manage tasks through both the written interface and occasionally the voice feature. However, I’d like to take it a step further by being able to create and manage sub-tasks directly through ChatGPT.
Currently, I can create main tasks easily, but there’s no way to break them down into sub-tasks—like adding "buy ingredients" or "prep meal" under "cook dinner"—without switching to the Any.do app. This disrupts my workflow, especially when I’m using ChatGPT’s voice mode…

Product: Integrate AI to answer user questions about planned activities
It would be great to ask an AI on WhatsApp or within the app about all planned activities for a specific period, like, "What do I need to attend in the morning?"
Additionally, I don’t like how the WhatsApp integration was implemented. It feels too rigid, responding strictly to requests without understanding the context. It assumes that everything I type is about adding a new task, which is frustrating. A AI can solve this also.

Smart Type: Enable/disable date in title
There could be an option for the user to choose in the settings whether they want the date and time to appear in the task title when we write it next to the title so the app can automatically mark it on the calendar. I wouldn't like to have the date and time in the title if it already appears on the side.

Product: Implement MFA
Hi, since the comment section from my original post is closed I submit a new topic.
I asked for MFA implementation with TOTP, mail and Webauthn to fit actual security standard and let the opportunity to users to increase the security of their data.
What you did is implementing 2FA: second factor authentication since you only support one type of second factor.
MFA stand for multiple factor authentication, meaning we should be able to choose multiple methods.Your implementation was fast and messy, you enabled mail factor for all your users without warning them first and you don't provide any…

Views: Indicate the number of tasks in each column
I think that saying the number of tasks in each column for example in the "next 7 days", for each day - would make it easier to understand how busy our days are in the week and plan accordingly.
I see myself counting each and every column manualy too many times.
Thank you in advance!6 votes -
Lists: Allow importing to shopping lists
Shopping lists should allow you to import a list of items like with the regular to do lists, or there should be an allowance to have regular lists converted into shopping lists. Cheers

My Days: Sync tasks to calendar
If I add something to My Day, I want it to show up in the calendar view. I like to add everything to my day, then go to the calendar view to drag them to the time I want to work on them. But I currently have to make them due that day in order for them to appear on the calendar.

Reminders: Override silent mode
This app is useless to me if notification sounds do not override a silenced system. I need to turn my ringer and other app notifications off during the workday, but certainly still need this app to make a notification sound to grab my attention to the reminder I set.
It's unfathomable that this app doesn't do this by default---I'm ready to cancel my premium subscription over such a gross oversight.

Lists: Set default sorting
It would be great not to have to resort tasks every time I open the app. I would like to have the ability to set my own default view. My preference is to always sort by time, others may differ.

Recurrency
It would be good to add recurrence, for example: on Wednesdays take out trash and to be able to cross it but get it again next Wednesday and so on for other routines we might have (cleaning routine, morning or night routine, etc)
